Senor sushi is one of those places you have to try at least once because how can you not love something that is deep fried :)

I always order the carne asada roll every time I come here but I am sure any of there other deep fried rolls will be just as delicious

There is not much variety to the menu I think because most people really do just come for the Mexican flavored sushi rolls!

Occasionally there is live entertainment but the singer speaks Spanish only FYI! Overall I like the whole lively atmosphere although it is pretty loud!

    Sushi party Mexican style.

This party place gets points for a new concept, and for making it fun with live Mexican-American music.

But, they missed the mark entirely on offering a quality product...where is the sushi?

And why is everything deep fried?

    Again, where is the fish?

It ended up being an unwise dinner choice.

    Why?
    1. Sub-par food.
    2. Unhealthy food. Nearly everything is deep fried.
    3. Music too loud or acoustics too good. Makes it more difficult to converse and digest.

On the plus side, margarita and service was okay. Price was average (too high for this product).

This food is seriously delicious. The shrimp fried rice was seasoned well and soooo good. There was a bit of a wait which was understandable since it was a Saturday night and they had a Dj. Speaking of the Dj, the music was sooo good. He played a nice mix and I couldn't get off of the dance floor (even though I have no rhythm), I blame the drinks. Lol I can't wait to go back!!

Mexican food and sushi: my go-to for comfort food cravings. So you can imagine my face when I found that Senor Sushi combined the best of both worlds to bring us: Mexican sushi.

I love the concept. But the implementation has a lot to be desired. We ordered the kamikaze roll, carne asada roll, and the chicken yakisoba. The kamikaze roll was pretty good with shrimp tempera, spicy tuna (yes!), topped with their spicy house sauce. If you're looking for sushi with a kick, this is it! It was a little more on the spicy side for me, but tasty none-the-less. The carne asada roll is one of their specialty rolls and a must-try: breaded and deep fried, stuffed with carne asada, jalapeno, avocado, and cream cheese. The roll is warm and filling, and something we all can get behind. The yakisoba could have been better. It seemed as though it was tossed together at the last second, covered in grease.

The sushi was great. I would suggest revising their noodle dishes to make a more cohesive meal and menu for everyone.

Found my fix for mexican sushi! Lol
I'm gonna be honest, for the longest time i've never tried "real sushi", and i grew up on mexican sushi. So when i told my bf about it he found this place for me and we gave it a try. Even if i still think the ones back in Mexico are the best ever, i really liked Señor Sushi. Now whenever i'm craving fried rolls full of meats, cheese and chilli topped with chipotle i come here! Lol
I didn't like the sushibola much but the rolls were good. And if we wanna have our crazy combos going on we also get wings and fries sometimes lol. I know all over the place!
Service is good (todos los meseros que me han tocado son muy amables), you can get your drink on and they have live music.
If you like latin rolls def give it a try! (If you haven't tried any of these i warn you, its far from original sushi, its a delicious crazy mix of things on rice tho! Lol)
